I lost hours on the first update to Win10 - not knowning or even no Info from intel, that this laptop is not supported anymore. I am shocked what bad support Intel is offering for my two year old laptop with Sandy Bridge and a WIN8 sticker on the back. If anyone else has had this issue and has found an intel driver that works I would be glad to learn from you. We know that the Windows 10 has been properly installed in every other way as we are able to login to the computer via Teamviewer and Logmein which I already had installed (Code 43)Įssentially this leaves my laptop unusable as I cannot see anything on my screen at all. Windows has stopped the device because it has reported problems. In device manager you can see that the intel drivers are disabled. We have uninstalled the Intel drivers several times and have let windows update bring in the latest version but so far we have had no success. Unfortunately even after calling Microsoft New Zealand 2 times and having a 3rd party technician spend over an hour trying to update my drivers we have all come to the conclusion that there is no driver for Sandybridge that works with the current version I upgraded to Windows 10 from my Windows 7 Pro 64 bit HP Probook 6560B which is running Intel CORE i5 HD Graphics 3000 (Sandybridge). I am on the latest build of Windows 10, (10240) and as we are all aware, Win 10 release date has come and gone.
